Vitalus is committed to taking every measure necessary to minimize disruption and continue delivering the same level of customer care you are accustomed to, during this period of uncertainty. From the very first case reported in BC, Vitalus took immediate action by creating a crisis team and initiating a business continuity plan that provided a road map to keep our people safe and to maintain our operations, which allowed for us to continue to produce quality dairy ingredients for our customers.
As the situation continued to evolve, so have our policies and protocols. We have built in the flexibility to have our workforce work remotely; we’ve asked our employees to conduct daily health monitoring and temperature check before coming to work every day. We have created policies for visitors and non-essential travel isolation practices, along with continuous open and transparent communications with our people, customers, and suppliers.
We are proud to be an essential service provider and commend our peers in the industry, local community, and business partners for their dedication to keeping our supply chain active during these challenging times. Vitalus remains committed to the health & safety of our people and to serving our customers!
