Decadent soft caramel containing 2 g of VITAGOS™ per 20 g serving.

Yield: 30 servings


  • 250 g of granulated sugar
  • 220 g of whipping cream
  • 70 g of VITAGOS™
  • 55 g water
  • 4 g of vanilla extract
  • 3 g salt


  1. In a heavy bottom saucepan, combine the sugar, water VITAGOS™ and salt.
  2. Over medium heat, cook the sugary mixture without stirring until it becomes a light amber color and reaches 176°C (350°F).
  3. Reduce the temperature to medium-low and whisk in the cream.
  4. While stirring constantly, simmer for 2 min.
  5. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla extract and transfer into a heat-resistant container.


  1. Caramel should be kept in the refrigerator.
  2. To be used as filling or topping for your favourite dessert product.
  3. As tolerances may vary from individual to individual, it is recommended not to exceed 6 servings a day.
