Chocolate Chip Energy Bites

This yummy treat is packed with protein and fiber and is perfect after physical activity. Drizzle some chocolate if you are looking for extra sweetness.


  • 1 cup quick oats
  • ½ cup sunflower butter
  • ⅓ cup flax meal
  • ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 20 g Milk Protein Isolate (MPI 1900)
  • 30 g VITAGOS™
  • ⅓ cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate (for garnish)


  1. Toast the sunflower seeds.
  2. In a bowl, combine the oat, flax meal, MPI 1900. Add the remaining ingredients and mix to form a dough.
  3. Form small balls of around 13–15 g.
  4. In a bain marie, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and drizzle on top of the balls.
  5. Refrigerate
