High Protein Pancakes

High Protein Pancakes
Each pancake contains 11 g of protein and 3 g of VITAGOS™  (serving of 138 g).
Yield: 4 servings.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/4 cups of milk of choice‡
• 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
• 20 g of Milk Protein Concentrate 85 (MPC 1850)
• 12 g of VITAGOS™
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons of baking powder
• 2 tablespoons of melted butter
• 1/2 tablespoon of white granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions:

1. Sift the dry ingredients together.
2. Whisk the egg, VITAGOS™, milk, and melted butter together and add to the dry ingredients.
3. Mix until smooth.
4. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat.
5. Pour the batter (approx. 1/4 cup for each pancake) into the frying pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Notes:

a. White granulated sugar can be replaced by any other sweetener.
b. VITAGOS™ is a source of dietary fiber. As tolerance varies from individual to individual, it is recommended to not exceed 4 servings of pancake per day.
